Seecago Tours, Inc. offers a variety of motor coach day trips for local businesses, church groups, park districts, senoir groups, banks and other organizations.

All tours are narrated by a private tour guide and include luncheons. Overnight tours include all lodging and meals. Departure location is from the group's selected location.

Chicago Historical Tour

The history of Chicago from the glacier beginnings to modern times. Tour of south side, downtown and near north side. Four stops, including Millennium Park. Lunch at a the Chicago History Museum. (8-9 hrs)

Chicago Historical Churches Tour

This tour will show you some of the most historic and oldest churches in Chicago.We will tour the interiors of 3 churches, along with seeing many others. Lunch is at Marshall Field's Walnut Room or selected restaurant.

South Suburban Historical Tour

The history of Chicago's south suburbs including South Holland, Lansing, Thornton, Crete, Park Forest, Chicago Hts, Homewood and others. Stops at local museums and the Thornton Quarry overlook. Lunch at a selected restaurant.

University of Chicago Tour

The historical U of C, along with a tour of Jackson Park, Washington Park and parts of Hyde Park; Marshall Field, John D. Rockefeller, Amos Alonzo Stagg, Enrico Fermi, Daniel Burnham, the 1893 World's Fair and more. Visits to F L Wright's Robie House, Rockefeller Chapel, and the Oriental Institute. Lunch at the Poccolo Mondo.

Prairie Avenue Tour

A visit to the near south side of Chicago including Chinatown, the Levee District, Quinn Chapel, Prairie Avenue, Fort Dearborn Massacre site, Capone sites and much more. Tour of the Clarke House, the oldest in Chicago, and the Glessner House Museum. Lunch at Manny's Deli. After lunch, a visit and docent-led tour of the Second Presbyterian church. (7-8 hrs)

 

Oak Park WrightTour

A visit to one fo the most beautiful and historic areas in Chicago. Includes neighborhood tour, tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright's Home and Studio and the Unity Temple. Lunch at a selected restaurant.

Quad Cities / Starved Rock State Park Tour

This is a 3day/2night tour. A two night stay at the Isle Casino in Bentendorf, IA. Additional sites for this tour include the Elwood House Museum, John Deere Historic Site in Grand Detour, Il, Rock Island Arsenal, the Mississippi River Lock and Dam, the John Deere Pavilion and Museum, and a Mississippi River dinner cruise. Day 3 tour of Starved Rock State Park and Ottawa, IL. All meals are included.

DesPlaines River Valley and I&M Canal Tour

A tour of the northern end of the I&M Canal, from Lemont to Joliet. Palos Forest Preserves, French and Indian sites, I&M Canal Museum, St. James of the Sag Cemetery, Joliet Area Museum and much more. Lunch at the historic Gaylord Building.

The Great Chicago Fire Tour
This tour is designed to give you an in depth look at the 2nd largest urban fire in U.S. history. We will begin at Mrs. O'leary's barn and continue to follow the fire's path through the Loop with timetables. After the Loop tour, we will continue to the North Side following the fire to Lincoln Park.  Stops include the Chicago Fire Training Facility, the Water Tower, and a lunch-on-your-own. (6-7hrs)

Pullman Tour

A visit to America's first Planned Industrial Community, listed as a National Historic Monument. The well-preserved area was built in 1880 by George M. Pullman, for the production of his famous sleeper car. Includes a visit to the Pullman Visitor Center, Greenstone Church, Pullman Porters Museum, Hotel Florence, Administration Building and factory grounds. Historical tour of town and surrounding area. Lunch is at a selected restaurant. (7 hrs)
